Rei Saiga (斎賀 玲), also known as Psyger-0 (サイガー0, Saigā Zero).
One of Shangri-La’s top players. She earned the title “Attack Master” by achieving the highest burst damage in the game. Her in-game avatar is an imposing figure covered head-to-toe in legendary equipment, but in the real world she’s a pretty teenage girl who has a crush/Love Interest on Sunraku.
Appearance[]
Rei is a high schooler girl of average height, with short light brown hair with equally colored eyes. She usually dons a long white dress with short sleeves. At times she can be seen in a gi when practicing Judo.
As Psyger-0 she is usually a very tall individual clad in full armor, to the extent none of her body can be seen. Her weapon of choice is a greatsword, and the color of her avatar changes depending on the buffs she employs.
Personality[]
Rei can be described as an "innocent maiden in love", being in love with Sunraku but being unable to muster the courage to tell him her feelings. Rei is a kind, well mannered, but usually very shy person, so whenever she attempts to talk with Sunraku she usually misses the chance because of her timidity. As a result Rei usually sticks to watch him from a distance, which has resulted on her stalking him, albeit on impulse.
Rei's crush is known to Mana who encourages her on her adventures, but as her attempts to approach Sunraku fail, she usually goes to Mana for consolation. The anime elaborates on some of her attempts such as trying to make chocolate for Valentine which she made on many shapes, including Sunraku's avatar, before molding it to its original shape.
As Psyger-0 she appears as a mysterious, silent warrior that is both inspiring and intimidating. Her attempt to send a friend notice to Sunraku was viewed by the latter as suspicious, but nonetheless accepted thinking it was a sort of hidden challenge.
When sending an in-game message to Sunraku which she deliberated for days, she sent what she believed was a "not too formal, not too casual" which was in fact extremely polite.

- Severing Attack! Rock Smasher: From dropping from above a target, delivers a powerful blue light energy slash impact smash attack. Dealing a powerful crushing blow with a shockwave force implosion.
- Emperor Of Evil - Satan: By saying the chant: 'Satanael, Reversed...Satan' release. Completely turns Psyger-0's entire white armor into a black knight theme with gold lines, a red cape and a flaming top off the helmet.
- Chaos Void: An extremely powerful buff skill attack that channels bright light in the sword Antinomy when Psyger-0 is in the Reverse Form upon activating Emperor Of Evil - Satan. Upon contact unleashed a powerful white and black mix dome of light that swallows the impacted target. Spell Chant: “Light And Darkness, Opposites In Constant Conflict Deny Their Mutual Rejection And Weave Together A Severed Destiny…My Body Is Bathed In Light And Cloaked In Darkness. Let Disorder Devour This World!”
- Friend Warp: An ability that allows one to be summoned by a ‘friend’ if they are in trouble. This is helpful when one wishes to fend off PK’ers with a Distress Signal when they attack someone and alert a friend to help them out. Of course there is an expiration when the timer for this expires.

Etymology[]
Her username, Psyger-0, is a play on her real name Saiga Rei. Psyger = Saiga and Zero (零) which can be read as Rei in on-yomi.

- She is head over heels for Sunraku. In manga chapter 82, she asks him to call her by the name Rei. Sunraku still thinks she is a man.
